This year has been really random for snow in Nashville, but I’m not complaining. I love it. The
snow is already sticking on the grass and sidewalks. The main road will live on still has too
many cars driving on it, even though it is getting slushy and kind of slippery.

Also in case you’re not familiar with Nashville, the drivers here are terrible. So when it starts to
snow, they freak out. As soon as the flakes start falling drivers forget everything they may
have know about cars and traffic. Suddenly there are about 20 wrecks and everyone is in
panic. Also when a “snowstorm” is coming people stock up on groceries like they’re
hibernating. Then almost every store closes early (ex. Borders, I just wanted a new book and
they closed 6 hours early so people could get home. Geez.) Also pretty much every public
school has closed school for tomorrow without it even being on the road. Typical though.
My boyfriend, bo, also loves the snow; just not when he isn't excepted it.
The road isn't covered yet, but school will probably get canceled.
Too bad I already have it off.

Besides playing in the snow later tonight, my plans are to watch the Preds vs. Avalanche
game! My love of hockey will have wait till a later post because I could write a novel on it.
While the game is on, all my favorite shows on NBC are returning tonight (including Parks &
Recreation, which I have been counting down the days for). I plan on cooking some dinner
later, so I’ll try and get that recipe up after, but only if it is yummy.
GO PREDS!
