sammie.

Since Thanksgiving we have had a foster dog named Sammie.  She is a-year-old Rhodesian ridgeback mix.  She has a gorgeous coat and incredible leg muscles.  She is just so lean and strong.  We have enjoyed having her around even though she is a lot of work because she loves to run and go outside and I’m not in shape.  

She also love to jump on the trampoline and she can jump very high!!

Anyway, about two weeks ago a guy from Alabama contacted us about Sammie and came to visit her one day, but had also lined up another interview or two with other dogs so we just had to wait to hear the verdict.

He called Tuesday and said he feel in love with Sammie and would be finalizing the papers on Saturday.  So this Saturday we meet up the guy and got the paperwork done.  He is really nice and in shape, so Sammie will be very happy.  He loves to go camping and hiking every weekend, which she will LOVE!

It was a little emotional letting her go, but we know that she has found her forever home.  It is awesome to know that she will be taken care of and it is a good feeling knowing we helped an animal in need.  I’m just so proud of her!
